Helllooooo Cedartown! We’re back again today to shine a spotlight on another one of our fabulous employees.
Give a virtual high-five to Michael Gammage. Michael was honored at this month’s City Commission meeting with the Bobby Alexander Public Works Award.

Michael works in our public works department. According to Public Works Director Kelvin Garmon, Michael has saved city residents thousands of dollars with his exceptional skill at repairing the city’s fleet vehicles.

From larger service trucks to small machinery repair, Gammage is a standout employee, Garmon said. “We are thankful to have someone like Michael working for us. Just this morning, he installed a motor in one of the city’s police cars. In the past, we would have to send that type of work outside the department but not anymore.” Thank you for what you do for Cedartown, Michael!
