Wanted Person in Polk County for Animal Cruelty and Cruelty to Children

Community, Police & Government
In our latest addition to our Wanted Person section is Andrew Phillip Compton.
Mr. Compton has warrants stemming from an incident where he allegedly choked a small brown dog. After this, Mr. Compton allegedly threw the dog to a German Shepard (that was aggressive to other dogs). The German Shepard proceeded to attack & maul the small dog until it was badly injured.
A small child witnessed this incident, so that is where the Cruelty to Children charge comes from.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call Polk County E-911 at (770) 748-3400.
